Falakata Policeman Mercilessly Beat Up Youth for Allegedly No Reasons

Webdesk, TNI Falakata 6th August, 2017: Falakata today saw an instance of high-handedness of Police while a youth was mercilessly beaten up by a policeman. According to the local sources, the victim Mr. Prakash Sil, a resident of Madari Road of Falakata was riding his bike with his friend Mr. Joy Roy. While they were crossing the Muktipara Unit Traffic Point, a policeman stopped their bike. It is alleged that without saying anything they were beaten up by the policeman.
The victim and his friend showed all the valid and upto date documents of their bike to the policeman but he brought them to the police station. The victim and his friend were afterward released from the Police station. By then the victim was screwing in pain because of the injuries in his body. He was taken to the Falakata Hospital for treatment. This has brought in a feeling of terror among the residents. A written complaint was also lodged against the accused Policeman to the IC of Falakata Police Station Mr. Binod Gazmere.
